Recognise Tummy-ache in Toddlers

It’s easy to know when you have a tummy-ache, but much harder for baby to tell you when they’re in pain. Look out for excessive crying and irritability, a sudden and uncharacteristic refusal to eat, a cycle of screaming fits, with or without vomiting, alternating with quiet periods. It’s not easy to know whether the pain is due to a serious illness or not, so it’s safest to consult your Doctor when in doubt.
